Jerusalem Announces the Passing of Its Faithful Son
Faisal Abdel Qader Al-Husseini
With
deep sorrow and regret, the City of Jerusalem and the
Palestinian people announce the passing of the faithful son
– the struggler – of Jerusalem and Palestine.
Faisal Abdel Qader Al-Husseini, Member of the PLO
Executive Committee in Charge of Jerusalem Affairs.
Mr. Husseini passed away while pursuing his national
and patriotic duty to defend the cause of Jerusalem and
Palestine and promoting international solidarity in support of
the Palestinian cause.
Mr.
Husseini died this morning, Thursday the 31st of
May, at the age of 61 in Kuwait City after suffering a heart
attack.
We
the people of Jerusalem and Palestine
promise
to our beloved Abu Abed
that
we will remain faithful to the Jerusalem, its Holy Sites,
and
to the just cause of Jerusalem and Palestine.
